GradWorks: The Graduate Research Seminar Series
CSE@UTA GradWorks seminar is seeking graduate students presenting their creative
research work on all aspects of computer science. GradWorks is a graduate student
research seminar series organized by the UTA CSE department. This will be a great
opportunity for graduate students to show their creative research work and learn
what others are doing. The PhD students are EXPECTED to give presentations in this
seminar as part of their graduate studies.
Presentation Topics
The presentation can be based on:
- a recently published paper authored by the speaker,
- a recently submitted manuscript written by the speaker,
- a piece of ongoing work with preliminary results,
- the pre-conference/workshop presentation of the speaker's recently accepted paper,
- a practice talk for dissertation defense.
Presentation submission
This weekly seminar will have one graduate student present his/her research work
every Friday from 2:00PM to 3:00PM. The submission of presentation request should
include the name of student, the title of the presentation, the abstract, the
link to the student website (if possible), and a short bio of the student.
This request can be emailed to (dliu AT uta DOT edu) anytime. Once the request is
received, the committee will contact you to detail the schedule.
