Research Interests : The most recent work with The University of Texas at Arlington involved Linux/Java data transfer and processor parallelism optimization. This research looked into developing an analytical technique for real system performance evaluation of the components of an IMS (IP Multimedia Services) network. Industry research focused on wireless cellular networking and with an emphasis on revenue maximization, capacity & performance optimization, and the cost reduction of migration from TDM to packet-based networking. Papers have been widely recognized by the IEEE International Symposiums, The International Teletraffic Conference (ITC), International Conference on Network and Services and various other conferences. The projects included Wireless Sensor Networks, Overload Control in Wireless Networks, Performance Evaluation Frameworks for IMS Network, and Cost Optimization of Network Migration from TDM to Packet. These papers helped in the development of simulation models, performance evaluation techniques, and designing algorithms for the next generation network architectures that significantly impact network vendors and service provider communities.
